Sometimes we catch glimpses into the future.
This past week the six year olds in our neighborhood were part of an art show.
This art show was hosted by Carter (6 years old). He is our children's friend.
The children brought their art to Carter's home before the art exhibit.
Carter took the time to label and display each piece.
We have artists in the making.
Our Max loves to paint and draw. He makes his own picture books.
Here is Max in front of one of his masterpieces.

What initiative! And what a great show -- I've been to less interesting art openings for sure!
Rebecca, I am impressed. I hope they "sold" their art. I think it would be neat for the budding entreneurs to make some money on it. I would have bought those three red birds. It had a great look. All of the children did well.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Excellent!! I Love this!
it's always fun to watch kids draw. this is a wonderful :)
I was laughing so hard at Ben's 'Rock Bird'...I don't know why, it just 'struck' me (no pun intended) as 'soooo' genius. Max's artwork is amazing. I also liked the three red cardinals, and the art work with 'girls' in them are quite good.
It must have been a fun time all around.
hugs,
your sis T
